I own a secondhand bookshop business on the Gold Coast. What I am looking for is ONE LOCAL BUSINESS in each suburb for the Greater Brisbane area to become a LOCAL AGENT to sell my books at retail at my prices with a 100% margin on every sale.
Not looking for other bookshops but complimentary businesses like hairdressers, gift shops, possibly coffee shops and any other business that has wall space for 2 - 4 bookshelves.
I supply you 250-1000 popular selling fiction books and some non fiction books. Each agent has access to my full stock listing of 60000 books which can be delivered from my warehouse to anywhere in Australia. You pay my wholesale price for your initial stock and purchase bookshelves. Stock is delivered to you FIS. Every 90 days or whenever you need new stocks you can pre order new titles and return any slow sellers for a full credit against new stocks and I pay freight back to the Gold Coast.
You agree to pay for your stock before it leaves my warehouse, you agree to sell all books at my prices which are $1-$5 maximum so nothing is over $5
and you make a 100% markup on cost . You buy a $5 book for $2-50 and likewise for lower priced books.
I want just one agent in each suburb. The idea is that you get new customers, whilst they are searching for books or ordering from our stock list which can be delivered within 7 days. It saves me shop rents and staff plus other on costs, it gets more stock out there improving my stock turnover and it gives you a great margin on something that sells itself.
I Will, advertise all agents on Facebook, websites and other media where appropriate to, direct people to, your shop.
I guarantee to buy back slow selling stock every 90 days or the lot if you wish to terminate this agency. It should be a win/win for everybody..

It is entirely your choice how many books or shelves you require. In round figures 250 books will cost about $500 wholesale + - depending on stock plus bookshelves there are no other fees, licences, royalties or other expenses.
