This Nissan 350Z Track with its great handling and sports suspension was always poorly served by the 3.5 litre Renault V6 engine. The heart transplant with a 6.2 litre LS3 allows this car to perform at its potential, with a few tweaks, to get it to 330kW at the tyres, and 700Nm of torque at 6000rpm - more than the fantastic GTR puts out - see the attached Dyno chart. The tweaks include high performance camshaft, hardened valve springs. The six-speed (manual) Holden gearbox handles all this very easily. The already strong Brembo brakes were upgraded to two-piece slotted rotors (front) and slotted (rear) with sport pads and braided brake lines - the brakes are a very strong feature of this vehicle. To help manage the excitement, there is a rev counter with shift light. The interior is unchanged from original and still smells of "as new" leather.
